Meet the DMT Organisers

We are Lucian & Speranta (Lux et Sper). We learned both as organisers, and participants of many, many inter/national tango events. Simply put, we decided keeping in DMT only what we liked and not allowing what we disliked in our tango-event experiences.

We don't believe we are better or worse event organisers, since we don't compare, neither compete with anyone. We just believe in tango dancers, tango light, tango blood, and tango hearts. Therefore, it is an honour to have you as our V.I.P. guest, among beautiful tango friends that do Count for us!

#1 I am a beginner: I don't know anyone and I don't know what to do...

At Dracula Marathon Tango nobody is tango fresh meat

Dracula Marathon Tango cheer-leaders every beginning: you really should consider coming to DMT especially if this is one of your first tango events. Yes, at DMT we value hight-quality tango dancing, but we respect human hearts FIRST!

You are NOT tango fresh meat: you are our SPECIAL VIP GUEST! You will be encouraged and integrated fully-heartedly by all DMT participants. They know how delicious tango acceptance is, and how much dammage tango rejection can inflict to our tango blood.

Dracula Marathon Tango website provides straightforward information in five main pages:

#3 Which are the steps to benefit DMT?

At DMT we don't work as hard as others, because... we get it right the first time

In order to fully benefit Dracula Marathon Tango website, we recomend three steps:

STEP1: browse the DMT website and get familiar with the details (location, djs, hotel-restaurant)

STEP2: decide what DMT package you want through the registration page (+great disCount)

STEP3: wait for us to contact you on the whatsapp/ email you provided in the DMT form.

If you have a complicated situation (agenda, payment, indecision), please contact us in private.

#4 What DMT package should I choose? Can I attend only one Milonga?

At DMT you choose whatever draws out of your tango blood the most

We know that life changes dynamically and cannot be fixed. Still, at Dracula Marathon Tango we have only 2 fixed packages:

A. DMT FULL PASS (7 milongas)

B. DMT PASS (5 milongas)

You can choose one of these, according to your date of arrival/departure, hotel booking, budget, etc. The marathon is a 4-day registered-only event and we are fully dedicated to our DMT participants. Their effort, passion and dedication are noble: for us "la noblesse oblige"...

In such respect, there is no possibility for one drop-in milonga or spontaneous door-apparition. However, we base our DMT event on the motto "everyone is invited"; if you have a delicate agenda, please send us a private message and we will try to DMT personalise it for you.

#5 I come alone. How should I book the hotel?

At DMT we don't cast spells on you, because we already taste your great vitality

If you come alone, congratulations, there will be more fun, friends, flights for you!

After we receive your DMT registration (through the registration page) we will contact you and check you in (both DMT organisers AND Hanul Bran Hotel). We will provide accomodation in two-bed rooms (twin) or appartments, according to your preferences (ladies and gentlemen are separately). In case of your late registration, if Hanul Bran is fully booked, we will direct you to friendly neighbour-hotels.

#6 We come in couple at the hotel. Is there matrimonial bed when booking?

There are two kinds of people in this world: DMT loves them both

If you come in couple, congratulations, there will be cosy, blood rushing, restless nights for you!

Send us your ONE registration per couple (through the registration page) and we will contact you. There is NO NEED for your partner to register too!

We will check you in (both DMT organisers AND Hanul Bran Hotel) and provide matrimonial-bed rooms. In case of your late registration, if Hanul Bran is fully booked, we will direct you to friendly neighbour-hotels.

#7 I come alone but I want a matrimonial bed with a preffered tango partner

We know your sweet tango blood is compatible with all DMT participants

Sorry, this goes out of our DMT jurisdiction. Check it with your preffered tango partner and then return to us.

#8 I am a vegetarian/vegan. Can I order special food at the restaurant?

At DMT we are not socially vegan: we love to prepare MEET

If you don't eat meat, congratulations! That means you are really concern about your health and diet. In addition, Dracula Tango Marathon participants will consider you less menacing.

All vegetarian/ vegan options or diet restriction should be communicated to the hotel-restaurant Hanul Bran when first booking or later, prior reaching the meals. If not communicated, the restaurant cannot guarantee the desired menu just at your drop-in arrival.

There is also spontaneous menu a la carte, but for your time and energy we strongly recommend to announce the hotel in advance.

#9 I am a ferocious gurmand. Can I eat more food?

At DMT we are thankful for having Days Giving and not having a Fangs Giving

Of course: we understand your ATP energy resources should be refilled. Remember that all regular meals and options will be previously communicated with Hanul Bran Restaurant.

Eating (breakfast, lunch, dinner) will take place in designated time slots in the Dracula Marathon Tango Program according to the restaurant rules. Breakfast is "free", that is included in the hotel booking (room reservation at Hanul Bran). Lunch and dinner, you pay at Hanul Bran. If you still feel hungry, there is menu a-la-carte option outside the DMT program; still, we encourage you to stick to marathon meal program, in order to:

1) socialise more with DMT participants

2) help your body get into the marathon rythm, with fixed meals and digestion pauses before your dance long effort

3) help Hanul Bran with their logistics for our next DMT meals.

If you still are hungry, you can have a full gourmand tour at the restaurants in Bran that can surely provide. If you are still hungry... we know good therapists.

#10 If I don't have a dance partner, can I come?

DMT: your mouth is bitter not because of what you tasted, but because of what you wasted

Of course! We strongly encourage you to find a dance partner for male-female parity, but if you come alone please tick the option "Still looking..." option in the registration form. We will try to find a good tango bite partner.

#11 What are Hanul Bran facilities?

When a mean partner says "Go to hell", we forgive and go home at DMT

Yes, DMT & Hanul Bran Restaurant will provide a Tango Bar during the day/ night milongas. All beverages (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) are to be paid at the bar when bought.

#12 Does Hanul Bran have a parking?

At DMT participants are not tango fast food, but tango slow digest.

Yes, the hotel parking in front of the hotel is specially dedicated for the DMT participants. People booked at Hotel Hanul Bran have priority.

#13 Does Hanul Bran have a pool?

We love holy water: at DMT body water makes us feel whole

No, the hotel-restaurant Hanul Bran has no pool. Nevertheless, you can bring your swim suit for a great sunbath outdoors or a nice swim/spa in other great destinations in Bran.

#14 Is there a TANGO BAR at DMT?

We drink responsibly at DMT, that is not spilling a drop on the floor.
